I was born in 1980 and since then I have not lived a single day without the company of a dog. Having compassion for all living things is what makes man truly human, this is what my parents instilled in me and every day I give them more reason. This hobby and love for dogs exists thanks to them who have always supported me and continue to support me in all my projects.
My dedication and love for the breed comes from a very young age, when one day after school I passed in front of a house and what would be my great impression, when seeing a dog with great bearing and majesty, with a penetrating and beautiful gaze walk, whom I call "The Black Giant", from that moment I fell in love with the breed and I knew that I should have one and I began to investigate more about this extraordinary Race ..
The Giant Schnauzer is a breed of special sensitivity, sheathed in a very symmetrical body of great strength and beauty that transmits dignity, elegance, self-confidence, almost human expression in its gaze. The giant schauzer is a breed with a balanced temperament, a dog with a high instinct for protection towards its owner and its house, loving with the whole family although they tend to be very attached to one person. It is a very reliable dog with no hidden vices. Very intelligent and although a little stubborn, they are dogs that once disciplined have a formidable working disposition which makes them one of the best breeds for this purpose. It is a strong and healthy dog, with little tendency to disease, but that needs a good dose of daily activity. The Giant Schnauzer is a breed that does not require a lot of maintenance when it is going to be kept as a pet or working dog, not being so when what one wants is an exhibition specimen since grooming becomes laborious because the coat has that being tough as required by the racial standard and must be maintained with pullmen, a job that is not easy.
Throughout this trip in the world of the Giant Schnauzer and with the aim of having excellent specimens that meet the FCI breed standard, I found one of the best hatcheries in America and I dare say that also in the world, at prestigious Skansen´s Kennel founded by the renowned breeder and judge of the giant schnauzer breed Sylvia Hammarstrom, who was able to establish the American phenotype over more than 45 years managing to position the breed worldwide with more than 1000 champions in the USA., Canada, Mexico, Europe, Africa, South America and Japan. It should be noted that many hatcheries such as Tanglewood´s, Histyle´s, Ingebar´s, Cethuz, among others have Skansen´s in their bloodlines. This is the origin of our current examples of elegance and movements, harmonious, spectacular, highly stylized and with a strong compact structure, I mean Skansen´s Asgaard son of Am and Mex Ch Skansen´s Ironman and Skansen´s Idlewild and our beautiful Skansen´s Calypso daughter of Am Ch Skansen´s Jockey and John Adams and granddaughter of Am GCh Skansen´s Harvard, finding in her genealogy high-level specimens of European lines such as: Stablemaster and Pectus from Finland, Pichera, Campos de oro de Spain, and Gloris from Russia.
Actually our specimens are Young Mexican and International Champions, which makes us proud and we are sure that they will continue to reap great successes inside and outside the country.
We have a young kennel located in the city of Chetumal Capital of the beautiful Quintana Roo State, with a firm objective, to position the breed in Mexico with excellent specimens of great beauty and temperament, developing the breeding of our dogs as if they were true members of our family , where the main ingredient is love. We hope to be part of that elite of breeders of Giant Schanuzers that seek to generate balanced specimens, worthy of their breed and as close to their standard, but always evolving and improving it.
We participate in the dog shows of conformation and beauty with constant work and obtaining great results in the hands of our Official Handler and expert knowledgeable in the breed and to whom I thank him for all his excellent and fine work he has done with our specimens, I I refer to Mr. Gil Silva, daring to say with all certainty that he is the best handler in Mexico in the race, an expert sculptor in grooming.
Under this philosophy I am guiding my goals and my achievements which are focused on being one of the most important breeders in Mexico in this wonderful breed.
